Donate to Support "Seussical" in June!

Fundraising Goal: $5,000

Metrowest Family Theater (MFT), a beloved 501(c)3 nonprofit community organization, is thrilled to announce our fundraising campaign for our next production: "Seussical"!

We are delighted to announce that our "Revive the Spotlight" initiative has successfully achieved its fundraising target of $5,000! These contributions have been instrumental in facilitating the return of Metrowest Family Theater (MFT) to our community following a five-year hiatus. Specifically, these funds have covered the requisite royalties amounting to $3423, with the remainder allocated to covering 30% of our venue rental expenses. Your generous support not only demonstrated the significance of MFT to you and our community but also provided us with the encouragement needed to proceed with our 2024 production.

Nevertheless, our efforts are ongoing. While cast production fees and ticket sales will contribute to 50% of the total production expenses for this ambitious musical endeavor, additional financial support is imperative for the sustained viability of our organization. To ensure long-term sustainability, we will be reliant on grants and further fundraising endeavors.

We are now setting our sights on a new fundraising target of $5,000. Your continued support will be pivotal in bringing "Seussical" to fruition and allowing us to continue with more productions in the future, encompassing essential elements such as costumes, lighting, scenery, and more. As always, your donation is fully tax deductible.

We invite you to join us in shaping the next chapter of Metrowest Family Theater, ensuring an unforgettable encore for all involved!

A 501(c)3 organization

MFT was founded in 2000 by then sixteen year-old Samantha Bower (Hammel).  Our mission is to bring quality plays and musicals to the Metrowest community and to bring children and families together in an atmosphere that is both exciting and educational.  Our award-winning productions include cast members from veteran actors to novice performers. Our shows include children, teenagers, and adults, and we usually have a few parents and animals join in on the fun as well!  Metrowest Family Theater auditions are generally open to children, teenagers, and adults. Performing with MFT enables everyone to work in a fun, friendly, professional theater atmosphere.  From veteran actors to parents of actors, everyone loves to get in on the act!

Help us continue to bring live theater to Metrowest!

MFT would not be possible without the support from our donors, fundraisers, etc.  We appreciate any amount that you can give and every penny will help fund future productions.  Your donation is tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
