We are proud to offer a unique program designed specifically for children ages 7 and under. Students are introduced to dance and theatrical concepts through a lively and unhurried curriculum with caring adult instructors. "Little Limelight" allows our youngest students to experience the joy of movement, theater and dance in a relaxed, warm, and caring setting. Our program is the perfect first step in your child’s performing arts education!

Additional Information for Recital Classes

After tuition, fees include Recital tickets and class attire.

Recital times and specific show assignments are emailed approximately one month after classes begin. Recital participation is optional.​

Recital costumes are rented to students at no charge. Lost or damaged costumes will incur a fee.

Non-Recital Classes
Families will be invited to attend the final 15 minutes of the last class of the term to enjoy a special sharing of the students' work.
CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
Boppin' Babies™: Classes are age appropriate, fun, creative and nurturing…and are a fantastic start to a little one's dance journey! The program is not only developmentally beneficial for young toddlers, but it also creates a community for the parents so they are able to get connected and feel involved in their little one’s activities! (Non-recital class; This is a parent/caregiver participation class.).

Flip-Hop: Basic tumbling which may include backbends, cartwheels, handstands/headstands, rolls, walkovers, and more. This is a non-Recital class. Dancers will build coordination, musicality, and confidence while learning basic hip-hop moves. This is a non-recital class. Families will be invited to attend the final 15 minutes of the last class of the term to enjoy a special sharing of the students' work.​

Ballet/Hip-Hop K-1: These fun combo classes introduce students to the steps and grace of ballet, the jazzy world of leaps and turns, and/or hip-hop skills. Foundational skills in a FUN environment! Accelerated classes are available for grades K-1 who have completed multiple sessions in our Twirl, Leap & Tumble program!

Musical Theater: Sing, dance, and act in this unique class for rising stars. Learn choreography to favorite Broadway songs, build confidence while singing in front of others, and let your imagination run free with foundational drama games and stories!

Boppin' Tots: This introductory class nurtures a love of dance with props, games, and music in an unhurried environment. (Non-recital class; parents welcome to participate at their own comfort level).

Mini-Movers: An introduction to basic ballet movement concepts, Mini Movers invites young dancers to explore music and movement in a fun, imaginative, and nurturing environment. One caregiver is welcome to remain in the studio as your child builds comfort and confidence. As independence grows, we’ll gently support dancers in participating on their own.

Twirl, Leap & Tumble: Our special blend of ballet, jazz and tumbling is one of our most popular classes! Our age-appropriate curriculum includes all the classic steps and we incorporate props, games, and creative movement for the quintessential dance class experience!

Sparkle Squad: Our all-new dance performance class is the perfect introduction to being part of a team! In this fun, high-energy 30-minute class, dancers will learn age-appropriate jazz and hip-hop choreography while building confidence, coordination, and stage presence. Sparkle Squad performers will shine on stage in our December Recital, with an additional community performance in November or December—giving dancers an exciting opportunity to share their sparkle beyond the studio!

Tap-Hop: Get ready to make some noise and groove! Tap-Hop combines the rhythmic fun of tap with the upbeat energy of hip-hop in a playful, age-appropriate class. Dancers will build coordination, musicality, and confidence while learning basic tap steps and hip-hop moves. Perfect for little ones who love to move, stomp, and shine on the dance floor. This is a non-recital class. Families will be invited to attend the final 15 minutes of the last class of the term to enjoy a special sharing of the students' work.

Story Theater: Calling all imaginative storytellers! In this fun, play-based theater class, young performers will build confidence, creativity, and teamwork through improvisation and dramatic play. Each class begins with a circle check-in and engaging improv warm-ups before students dive into a weekly storytelling challenge. Children will use their imaginations to create original skits inspired by a teacher-led prompt while using a variety of exciting props. At the end of each class, groups will perform their creations for one another, celebrating creativity and collaboration in our famously supportive environment. This non-singing class is perfect for students who love pretending, creating characters, and telling stories. Along the way, they'll develop important acting skills, communication skills, confidence, and stage presence while having a ton of fun! This is a non-recital class. Families will be invited to attend the final 15 minutes of the last class of the term to enjoy a special sharing of the students' work.

Join TPAC for a series of seasonal events designed to create special memories for young children and their caregivers. Each event is sweetly themed and held in our bright and inviting studio. Events include dancing games, free play, and a craft. ​
Your first event is free! Subsequent events are free for members and $5 per family for non-members payable at the door. Signups close at 10pm the evening prior to the event or when the event fills, whichever comes first. Most events fill fast - sign up ASAP to guarantee a space​.

Journey to Arendelle and beyond in our fun half-day February vacation workshop! We'll dance, sing, have fun with crafts, and go on a magical adventure. Let your imagination run wild as you pretend to be your favorite characters from the hit movies. Dazzle with your ice powers as Elsa, climb snowy mountains as Kristoff, ride through the wilderness as Sven, discover the Enchanted Forest as Anna, and more! A short presentation at the end is the "icing" on the cake!
